  1. Deepening knowledge of etiopathogenetic links of specific and nonspecific inflammatory diseases of joints (rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, etc.), development of new and improvement of existing methods of their diagnosis and treatment
  2. Study of the pathogenesis of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints (osteoarthritis), development of new methods of prevention and treatment of these diseases.
  3. Minimally invasive technologies for the treatment of joint and bone lesions (diagnostic and therapeutic arthroscopy).
  4. Development of new methods and means of treatment of traumatic injuries of joints and bones, methods of stable-functional osteosynthesis.
  5. Experimental studies of pharmacotherapy in arthrology.
  6. Biomechanical research in traumatology and orthopedics.
